Third-placed Sporting Portugal will on Sunday evening host second side Porto in a heated round of action as the Portuguese Primeira Liga  continues into its fifteenth round. The two teams have been in active action the past few weeks, including the league, league cup and Europa League. In fact, Sporting will be travelling after a 4-2 win at Portimonense in Round 3 of the League Cup fixtures. Earlier, the team had won 4-0 in a league match at Santa Clara. In the match, Luiz Phellype netted a brace as Bollasie and Bruno Fernandez completed the rout with a goal each. At home, Sporting are in splendid form and have won all of their last six games in all competitions, four of which ended in over 2.5 goals. In addition, Sporting maintained a clean sheet in four of six home games. Visitors Porto have only lost once this season and are separated from top side Benfica by four points. The Dragons just beat GD Chaves 4-2 in the third round of the League Cup. Soares was the toast of the day as he scored a brace that paired with goals from Marega and Diaz for the victory. On the road, the teams is in great form and has won four times in six away games, of which one ended in a draw. Half of the six away matches ended in over 2.5 goals. Both coaches will go into the match lifted by the knowledge that their respective teams won once in four head to head matches in 2019. The other two games ended in draws.
