A 1-0 victory over Switzerland helped Sweden progress to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, where they are now set to take on England. The English side beat a hard-fighting Colombia 4-3 in penalty shootouts, following a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation and extra time. To make it this far, Sweden had to top Group F after two wins and one loss. The Swedes beat South Korea, before losing to Germany and later rising to obliterate Mexico. England beat Tunisia 2-1 in their opening group match before havng a field day against Panama, whom they thrashed 6-1. They then went on to lose 1-0 to Belgium but progressed as the second best team in Group G.
